What kind of courses does Pivot Careers offer?
At Pivot Careers, we offer a range of courses in data science, business analytics, project management, and data analytics. Our courses are designed to provide practical, hands-on experience and equip our students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen field.
We are constantly updating and improving our course offerings to ensure they align with the latest industry trends and requirements. Additionally, we are planning to introduce hybrid courses in the near future
How long are the courses, and what is the format of the training?
Our courses typically last for 12 weeks, with 6 weeks of live sessions and 5 weeks of live immersive projects. Each week of learning may take up to 4-6 hours of your time, and classes are usually held on weekends to accommodate busy schedules. Our training format is designed to be immersive and hands-on, with a focus on practical skills and real-world experience.
You will have the opportunity to work on real projects alongside expert instructors and mentors, which will help you gain valuable experience and develop a portfolio of work to showcase your skills to potential employers
Are the courses designed for beginners or professionals with some experience in the field?
Our courses are designed with beginners in mind, particularly those who are looking to switch careers. We understand that starting a new career can be challenging, which is why we focus on providing practical, hands-on experience and personalized support to help our students succeed.
That said, our courses can also serve as a refresher for those who have studied a similar course at university but need a practical application of their knowledge. Our instructors are experienced in working with students of all levels, and we encourage everyone to join our courses and gain valuable practical skills in a supportive learning environment.
Do you offer any certification upon completing a course?
At Pivot Careers, we offer a certificate of completion for all of our courses. This certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete the course requirements and assessments. Our certificates are recognized by employers and can help you demonstrate your skills and expertise in your chosen field.
Can I access the course materials and videos after completing the course?
Yes, upon completion of a course, you will have access to the learning management portal for an additional six months. This will allow you to continue to access course materials, videos, and other resources as needed. We understand that learning is a continuous process, and we want to support our students even after they have completed a course with us.
Do you offer any discounts or payment options for students?
We offer discounts from time to time to support our students. Additionally, on a case-by-case basis, we may be able to offer payment in two installments. We encourage you to speak to one of our staff members to discuss your options and see if you qualify for any discounts or payment plans.
